MG Hotels

Since 2007,four houses.A fifth expected in 2028.

MG Hotels began as a family in Luxembourg hospitality long before it opened its first apart-hotel under its own name. What follows is the short version, how the houses came to be, and why each one was built the way it was.

A timeline

The houses,in order.

From Avenue de la Liberté in 2007 to Rue Louvigny in 2016, four addresses opened one door at a time.

  1. Résidence Gare wordmark

    2007

    Résidence Gare

The first address, and still the largest. Twenty-three apartments on nine floors of Avenue de la Liberté — twenty-two studios and a duplex penthouse with the highest terrace in the collection. Long before the word existed, this was the house people worked from.

  2. Four Stars Apart Hotel wordmark

    2012

    Four Stars Apart Hotel

Nine apartments on Rue Glesener, with a private balcony on every unit and a bathtub in the master bathroom of the two-bedrooms. The house built around families and small groups: room to spread out, in the city centre.

  3. Guillaume Suites wordmark

    2014

    Guillaume Suites

Seven apartments above the Giallo ristorante on Rue de Curé. Air conditioning in every unit, breakfast and room service from downstairs, two minutes from the cathedral. The cultural address.

  4. Relais Louvigny wordmark

    2016

    Relais Louvigny

Four apartments on Rue Louvigny, one per floor, each with a freestanding bathtub and a separate cloakroom. The smallest and the quietest of the four — a pied-à-terre in the old town, sotto voce.

  5. 2028

    A fifth house

A fifth address is in renovation, expected to open in 2028. More when there is more to say.
